Digitally detox for a weekend in an RV and get paid $1,000

According to the Salt Lake City-based company, one lucky person will have the opportunity to digitally detox in a National Park campsite of their choice and then write about their experience online.

Many people are getting restless during the pandemic and are looking to enjoy the great outdoors — RV sales and rentals are seeing a surge in demand.

“We’ll pay you $400 upfront and the remaining $600 upon completion. You’ll also get reimbursed for your RV rental, your mobile hotspot, and food (up to $1,000),” according to the company.

That means unplugging from all social media—no sharing selfies on Instagram or tweeting how beautiful it is. Just you and the wide-open spaces of nature’s beauty to keep you company.

No technology is allowed, except what you need to reach your destination safely, according to the contest rules. 

While it sounds like the perfect mini-vacation, how many could go a whole weekend without checking their phones or using their laptop?
